FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Yes, we strive for accurate representation. However, as tea is a natural product, slight variations in leaf color, shape, or texture can occur from batch to batch, much like with any agricultural product. Rest assured, the quality and blend will always match your order.
To preserve the freshness, aroma, and flavor of your tea leaves, store them in an airtight container away from direct sunlight, heat, moisture, and strong odors. A cool, dark pantry is ideal. Our packaging is designed to help maintain freshness, but for longer-term storage, an additional opaque, airtight container is recommended.
When stored correctly, most of our tea leaves maintain their optimal flavor and aroma for up to 12-24 months from the date of harvest/packaging. While tea doesn’t “go bad” in the way food does, its freshness and flavor profile will gradually diminish over time. We recommend enjoying your tea within this period for the best experience.
While brewing instructions can vary slightly depending on the specific tea type (e.g., green, black, oolong, herbal), general guidelines involve using fresh, filtered water heated to the appropriate temperature (usually 80-100°C), and steeping for 2-5 minutes. We provide specific brewing recommendations on each product page and/or packaging to help you achieve the perfect cup.
